Welcome to Rotary Club of Odawara Naka !

Our club,RotaryClub of Odawara Naka,was founded in April 17,1980 sponsored by Rotary Club of Odawara . Since then, we have performed various Rotary activities and presently we have 54 members.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi(one of the powerful Lords in Japan in 16th century), who had an ambition to conquer Kanto District(Tokyo Area), attempted to invade Odawara. The Hojyo family who controlled Odawara Area and lived in the great Odawara Castle fought against Toyotomi during several seasons by their profound knowledge and brave military power, Since that period, even during the Tokugawa's 15 generations, as a town of commerce and industry, Odawara prospered their own culture and industry by using people's profound knowledge and courage inherited from the Hojyo family.
The symbols of Odawara Naka Rotary Club are the Odawara Castle, standing in the unpolluted clear sky, which foot is washed by the ocean of Sagami Bay, and the Plum blossom of Odawara City's flower.
